IN 1935 PERSIA CHANGED ITS NAME TO IRAN<\/h3>\n

From 600 BC until 1935, the country was referred to in the West as Persia. On March 21, 1935, the
\ngovernment (Reza Shah Pahlavi) issued a decree asking foreign delegates to use the native term Iran in formal correspondence.<\/p>\n

Iran was always known as \u2018Persia\u2019 to foreign governments and was once heavily influenced by Great Britain and Russia. In 1935, however, the Iranian government requested that all countries with diplomatic relations call the country by its Persian name, Iran. There are \u201cEight Kings\u201d in Iran, one after the other, that lead up to the 2nd coming of Jesus Christ.<\/p>\n

This makes Reza Shah Pahlavi the first King of Iran.<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n

THERE WILL BE EIGHT KINGS IN IRAN LEADING UP TO THE 2ND COMING OF JESUS CHRIST.<\/strong><\/p>\n

IN REVELATION CHAPTER 17<\/a>\u00a0WE READ<\/strong><\/p>\n

10<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is,\u00a0and<\/span>\u00a0the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.<\/p>\n

Do the math; 7 kings, five of the 7 kings have fallen.\u00a0 and one is, that would make the 6th king, and the other has not come. The 6th King is the one that brings in the Mark of the Beast. Then the scripture goes on to say,\u00a0and<\/span>\u00a0the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space, making it 7<\/strong> Kings in the North Kingdom. So how do we get eight Kings? Read verse 11.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

11\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.<\/p>\n

This is how we know that 8 Kings lead up to the 2nd coming of Jesus Christ.<\/strong><\/p>\n

You can read\u00a0Daniel 8<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Chapter 11<\/a>\u00a0and learn what the kings did when there in power. For example, in\u00a0Daniel 8:4<\/a>\u00a0we read that Iran (Persia and Turkey) will start a war.<\/p>\n

3\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>Then I lifted up mine eyes, and saw, and, behold, there stood before the river a ram which had\u00a0two<\/span>\u00a0horns: and the\u00a0two<\/span>\u00a0horns\u00a0were<\/span>\u00a0high, but one\u00a0was<\/span>\u00a0higher than the other, and the higher came up last.<\/p>\n

4\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>I saw the ram pushing westward, and northward, and southward; so that no beasts might stand before him, neither\u00a0was there any<\/span>\u00a0that could deliver out of his hand; but he did according to his will, and became great.<\/p>\n

So what is the ram? Read\u00a0Daniel 8:20<\/a><\/p>\n

20\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>The ram which thou sawest having\u00a0two<\/span>\u00a0horns\u00a0are<\/span>\u00a0the kings of Media and Persia.<\/p>\n

Media is a territory that covers Turkey and Iran today. Persia today is Iran.<\/p>\n

Some believe that this already happens, but the scripture says that this is for the end of days.<\/p>\n

19<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>And he said, Behold, I will make thee know what shall be in the last end of the indignation: for at the time appointed the end\u00a0shall be.<\/span><\/p>\n

If that wasn\u2019t enough Daniel repeated it twice, see verse 17.<\/p>\n

17\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>So he came near where I stood: and when he came, I was afraid, and fell upon my face: but he said unto me, Understand, O son of man: for at the time of the end\u00a0shall be<\/span>\u00a0the vision.<\/p>\n
