As each of the seven seals of the book was opened, John saw visions concerning a thousand-year period of earth\u2019s history (see D&C 77:7<\/a>). In short, the first seal represents the first thousand years of Earth\u2019s recorded history (around 3967-2967 BC), and the sequence proceeds accordingly. Below, we examine the 7 seals, providing possible interpretations of the symbols used by John in his visions. We also include a brief examination of the seven trumpets.<\/p>\n

The article\u2019s 33-year date error led to the false belief the 7th seal began in 2000. <\/strong><\/em><\/h3>\n

The Dates Have Been Updated. <\/strong><\/h3>\n

The resurrection of Jesus Christ is the mid-point.<\/p>\n

Sunday, April 11th, 33 AD<\/p>\n

Abinadi and Alma both give the mid-point of Earth\u2019s existence as the resurrection of Jesus:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Everything is divided into half before Christ\u2019s resurrection and half after Christ\u2019s resurrection; this means that there were 4000 years from the Fall of Adam to the resurrection of Jesus. Then there will be 4000 years from the resurrection of Jesus to the end of the Earth.<\/p>\n

This means that the exact day that the 5th Seal was opened was on Sunday, April 11th, 33 AD. It also means that the 7th Seal will open on Sunday, April 17th, 2033, AD. (easter)<\/p>\n

Please remember this important detail.<\/strong> The information\u2019s accuracy is, to my knowledge, certain. In the year 2033, the seventh seal\u2019s dramatic opening starts the first trumpet\u2019s sound, marking the first resurrection. Remain attentive. This isn\u2019t the second coming. Study hard. Commenting on Revelation 6:1\u20132<\/a>, Elder Bruce\u00a0R. McConkie said, \u201cThe most transcendent happenings\u201d referred to in these verses \u201cinvolved Enoch and his ministry. And it is interesting to note that what John saw was not the establishment of Zion and its removal to heavenly spheres, but the unparalleled wars in which Enoch, as a general over the armies of the saints, \u2018went forth conquering and to conquer\u2019 [Revelation 6:2<\/a>; see also Moses 7:13\u201318<\/a>]\u201d (Doctrinal New Testament Commentary,<\/em> 3\u00a0vols. [1966\u201373],\u00a03:477).<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

As recorded in the scriptures, widespread wickedness and violence characterized this time period, which included the Great Flood during the days of Noah (see Genesis 6\u201311<\/a>; Moses 7:24\u201343<\/a>; 8:1\u201330<\/a>). The rider of the red horse had power to \u201ctake peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another\u201d (Revelation 6:4<\/a>).<\/p>\n

\u201cWho rode the red horse, the red horse of war and bloodshed and a sword, during the second seal? Perhaps it was the devil himself, for surely that was the great day of his power, a day of such gross wickedness that every living soul (save eight only) was found worthy of death by drowning.\u00a0\u2026<\/p>\n

\u201cOr if it was not Lucifer, perhaps it was a man of blood, or a person representing many murdering warriors, of whom we have no record. Suffice it to say that the era from 3000\u00a0B.C. to 2000\u00a0B.C., was one of war and destruction\u201d (Bruce\u00a0R. McConkie, Doctrinal New Testament Commentary,<\/em>\u00a03:478).<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

Black horse = Famine<\/p>\n

Balances = High prices for food<\/p>\n

\u201cA measure of wheat\u201d would feed an adult for a day and cost a penny under these famine conditions. \u201cPenny\u201d is translated from the Greek word d\u0113narion,<\/em> which referred to a Roman coin that some estimate was worth the typical daily wage of a laborer. A person could purchase only enough food to live on with a whole day\u2019s wages, indicating extreme famine prices. In contrast, barley was less expensive and was thus eaten by the poor. As recorded in the scriptures, famines are characteristic of this time period (see Genesis 41\u201342<\/a>; Abraham 1:30<\/a>; 2:1, 17,\u00a021<\/a>).<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

As recorded in the scriptures, great warring empires characterized this era: Assyria, Egypt, Babylon, Persia, Greece, and Rome. Having rejected the warnings of prophets such as Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Amos, the kingdoms of Israel and Judah often found themselves victims of these conquering empires. Israel and Judah also fought against one another.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

Fifth seal | 33 A.D. to 1033 A.D.<\/div>

Altar = Sacrifice<\/p>\n

Souls = Martyrs, Christians killed for their beliefs<\/p>\n

Many early Christians, including nearly all the original Apostles, gave their lives as martyrs. John saw the Christian martyrs \u201cunder the altar,\u201d suggesting that their lives were given in sacrifice to God\u2019s service, much like the sacrificial animals offered upon the altar of the temple. Because they gave up their lives \u201cfor the word of God, and for the testimony which they held,\u201d they were given \u201cwhite robes,\u201d symbolic of purity (see Revelation 7:13\u201314<\/a>; 3\u00a0Nephi 27:19<\/a>).<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

Personal Note:<\/strong> The earthquake predicted did not happen as of 2025. We are still within the sixth seal; that\u2019s why. As I\u2019m writing this article, I see these events unfolding right before the seventh trumpet sounds. If the calendar\u2019s accurate, I\u2019d estimate between 2030 and 2033. As you carefully read and thoroughly study the material, please note the patterns and details, and see if your observations match my own. I get this by reading D&C 88: 87-98<\/a><\/p>\n

This thousand-year period will continue until just before Jesus Christ returns in glory and reigns personally on the earth. John noted seven signs that will accompany this time period: an earthquake, the darkened sun, the moon becoming as blood, stars falling, the heavens opening as a scroll (see Joseph Smith Translation, Revelation 6:14 [in Revelation 6:14, footnote\u00a0a<\/em><\/a>]), mountains and islands moving out of their places, and men seeking to hide themselves. Similar signs of the times are recorded elsewhere in scripture (see Joel 2:10, 30\u201331<\/a>; Haggai 2:6\u20137<\/a>; D&C 29:14<\/a>; 43:25<\/a>; 88:87\u201391<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Seven groups of men are also identified in these verses: kings, great men, rich men, chief captains, mighty men, bondmen, and freemen. The number seven suggests completeness or wholeness: no enemies of God will escape His wrath in the last days.<\/p>\n

D & C 88: 87-91<\/a><\/p>\n

87<\/strong> For not many days hence and the earth<\/a> shall tremble<\/a> and reel to and fro as a drunken man; and the sun<\/a> shall hide<\/a> his face, and shall refuse to give light; and the moon shall be bathed in blood<\/a>; and the stars shall become exceedingly angry, and shall cast<\/a> themselves down as a fig that falleth from off a fig tree.<\/p>\n

88<\/strong> And after your testimony<\/a> cometh wrath and indignation upon the people.<\/p>\n

89<\/strong> For after your testimony cometh the testimony of earthquakes<\/a>, that shall cause groanings in the midst of her, and men shall fall upon the ground and shall not be able to stand.<\/p>\n

90<\/strong> And also cometh the testimony of the voice<\/a> of thunderings, and the voice of lightnings, and the voice of tempests, and the voice of the waves of the sea heaving themselves beyond their bounds.<\/p>\n

THE FIRST TRUMPET<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cFire of the Altar\u201d Cast into the Earth<\/p>\n

After the seventh seal was opened, John saw an angel take \u201cfire of the altar, and cast it into the earth\u201d (Revelation 8:5<\/a>). Elder Bruce\u00a0R. McConkie<\/strong> stated that \u201cthe hot coals, taken from the altar and cast down to earth, symbolize the judgments of God to be rained down upon the wicked during the opening part of the seventh seal\u201d (Doctrinal New Testament Commentary,\u00a03:499).<\/p>\n

Revelation 8: 1-7<\/a><\/p>\n

1<\/strong> And when he had opened<\/a> the seventh seal<\/a>, there was silence<\/a> in heaven about the space of half an hour.<\/p>\n

2<\/strong> And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets<\/a>.<\/p>\n

3<\/strong> And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense<\/a>, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne.<\/p>\n

4<\/strong> And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers<\/a> of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel\u2019s hand.<\/p>\n

When the third angel sounded the trumpet, \u201cthere fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp\u201d; John identified this star as \u201cWormwood\u201d (Revelation 8:11<\/a>). Wormwood was a plant with an extremely bitter taste. The star named Wormwood that fell from heaven may symbolize the bitterness and awfulness that comes to all who follow the devil.<\/p>\n

D&C 88: 100-101<\/a><\/p>\n

100<\/strong> And again, another trump shall sound, which is the third trump; and then come the spirits<\/a> of men who are to be judged, and are found under condemnation<\/a>;<\/p>\n

101<\/strong> And these are the rest of the dead<\/a>; and they live not again until the thousand<\/a> years are ended, neither again, until the end of the earth.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

4th Trumpet<\/strong><\/div>

104<\/strong> And this shall be the sound of his trump, saying to all people, both in heaven and in earth, and that are under the earth\u2014for every<\/a> ear shall hear it, and every knee shall bow<\/a>, and every tongue shall confess, while they hear the sound of the trump, saying: Fear<\/a> God, and give glory to him who sitteth upon the throne, forever<\/a> and ever; for the hour of his judgment is come.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

107<\/strong> And then shall the angels be crowned with the glory of his might, and the saints<\/a> shall be filled with his glory<\/a>, and receive their inheritance<\/a> and be made equal<\/a> with him.<\/p>\n

D&C 88: 108-116<\/a> | All the angels will sound their trumpets again.<\/p>\n

114<\/strong> And then cometh the battle<\/a> of the great God; and the devil and his armies shall be cast away<\/a> into their own place, that they shall not have power over the saints any more at all.<\/p>\n

115<\/strong> For Michael shall fight their battles, and shall overcome him who seeketh<\/a> the throne of him who sitteth upon the throne, even the Lamb.<\/p>\n

116<\/strong> This is the glory of God, and the sanctified<\/a>; and they shall not any more see death<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

More Scripture Reading to support your study\u2019s<\/p>\n

Revelation 8:13<\/a>; 9:12<\/a>; 11:14<\/a>. The Three Woes Sounded. But the 1st woe does not take place until the 5th Trumpet.<\/h3>\n

6th Trumpet – Rev 11:14 The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly.<\/p>\n

Note:<\/strong> At this time, I do not know if the third woe is a part of the 6th Trumpet or the beginning of the 7th Trumpet. Elder Bruce\u00a0R. McConkie<\/strong> discussed the meaning of the three woes: \u201cAfter showing John the woes that would befall mankind before the Second Coming (Rev. 6:9\u201317<\/a>; 7<\/a>; 8:1\u201313<\/a>), the Lord, by an angelic ministrant, promised three more woes, which were to attend and usher in the reign of the Great King. (Rev. 8:13<\/a>.) The first of these was the unbelievably destructive series of wars leading up to the final great holocaust. (Rev. 9:1\u201312<\/a>.) The second was the final great war itself in which one-third of the hosts of men should be slain. (Rev. 9:12\u201321<\/a>; 10<\/a>; 11:1\u201314<\/a>.) And now the third woe is to be the destruction of the remainder of the wicked when the vineyard is burned by divine power and the earth changes from its telestial to its terrestrial state\u201d (Doctrinal New Testament Commentary,\u00a03:511).<\/p>\n

PART OF THE 3RD TRUMPET<\/p>\n

Revelation 9:1<\/a>. A Star Fell from Heaven and \u201cWas Given the Key of the Bottomless Pit\u201d<\/h3>\n

Revelation 9:1<\/a> symbolically describes the last efforts of Satan and his followers prior to the final destructions of the wicked. Satan is depicted as a star fallen from heaven (see also Isaiah 14:12\u201317<\/a>; Revelation 12:9<\/a>). The Joseph Smith Translation clarifies that the key was given not to Satan but \u201cto the angel<\/em>\u201d (in Revelation 9:1, footnote\u00a0a<\/em><\/a>), who then opened the bottomless pit. This reading emphasizes that God has ultimate control and that Satan has power only as God allows. At the beginning of the Millennium, God will bind Satan and his followers (see Revelation 20:1\u20133<\/a>; D&C 43:29\u201331<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Revelation 9:2\u20133<\/a>. Smoke Arose Out of the Bottomless Pit<\/h3>\n

The smoke in Revelation 9:2\u20133<\/a> is reminiscent of the mists of darkness in Lehi\u2019s vision of the tree of life (see 1\u00a0Nephi 8:23<\/a>; 12:17<\/a>). The smoke that emerges from the bottomless pit darkens the skies, similar to how the mists of darkness in Lehi\u2019s vision obscured view of the tree of life. The smoke may allude to all of Satan\u2019s false philosophies, temptations, deceptions, and attempts in the last days to destroy righteousness upon the earth (see D&C 93:39<\/a>).<\/p>\n

5th Trumpet<\/strong><\/p>\n

Revelation 9:4<\/a>. The Righteous Will Be Protected<\/h3>\n

The descriptions of judgments upon the wicked in Revelation\u00a08<\/a> continue in Revelation\u00a09<\/a>. The Apostle John saw that certain calamities preceding the Second Coming would not affect all the earth or its inhabitants, \u201cbut only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads\u201d (Revelation 9:4<\/a>). This corresponds with other scriptural promises that in the last days, those who are faithful will ultimately be protected (see 1\u00a0Nephi 22:17\u201319<\/a>; D&C 115:5\u20136<\/a>). President Gordon\u00a0B. Hinckley<\/strong> (1910\u20132008) emphasized that spiritual preparation should be our first priority when seeking protection from the calamities of the last days:<\/p>\n

\u201cSomeone has said it was not raining when Noah built the ark. But he built it, and the rains came.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Lord has said, \u2018If ye are prepared ye shall not fear\u2019 (D&C 38:30<\/a>).<\/p>\n

\u201cThe primary preparation is also set forth in the Doctrine and Covenants, wherein it says, \u2018Wherefore, stand ye in holy places, and be not moved, until the day of the Lord come\u2019 (D&C 87:8<\/a>).\u00a0\u2026<\/p>\n

\u201cWe can so live that we can call upon the Lord for His protection and guidance. This is a first priority. We cannot expect His help if we are unwilling to keep His commandments\u201d (\u201cIf Ye Are Prepared Ye Shall Not Fear,\u201d<\/a> Ensign or Liahona, Nov. 2005,\u00a062).<\/p>\n

Though the Lord promises protection to the righteous in the last days, the Prophet Joseph Smith<\/strong> clarified that some who are righteous may lose their lives in the trials and calamities of the last days: \u201c[I] explained concerning the coming of the Son of Man; also that it is a false idea that the Saints will escape all the judgments, whilst the wicked suffer; for all flesh is subject to suffer, and \u2018the righteous shall hardly escape\u2019 [see D&C 63:34<\/a>]; still many of the Saints will escape, for the just shall live by faith [see Habakkuk 2:4<\/a>]; yet many of the righteous shall fall a prey to disease, to pestilence, etc., by reason of the weakness of the flesh, and yet be saved in the Kingdom of God\u201d (Teachings of Presidents of the Church: Joseph Smith [2007],\u00a0253<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Revelation 9:4\u201310<\/a>. A Time of Great Warfare<\/h3>\n

John used images familiar to him to describe war and destruction in the last days. Locusts and scorpions are often associated in the scriptures with torment and destruction (see Exodus 10:14\u201315<\/a>; 1\u00a0Kings 12:11<\/a>). Iron, horses, and chariots are images of warfare (see Joshua 17:16<\/a>; Ezekiel 39:20<\/a>; Daniel 11:40<\/a>). Elder Bruce\u00a0R. McConkie<\/strong> discussed possible meanings of the warfare described in Revelation\u00a09<\/a>:<\/p>\n

\u201cJohn here seeks to describe a war fought with weapons and under circumstances entirely foreign to any experience of his own or of the people of that day. Joel, subject to the same limitations of descriptive ability, attempted to portray the same scenes in [the words found in Joel 2:1\u201311<\/a>].<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is not improbable that these ancient prophets were seeing such things as men wearing or protected by strong armor; as troops of cavalry and companies of tanks and flame throwers; as airplanes and airborne missiles which explode, fire shells and drop bombs; and even other weapons yet to be devised in an age when warfare is the desire and love of wicked men\u201d (Doctrinal New Testament Commentary, 3:502\u20133).<\/p>\n

5th Trumpet Continues<\/p>\n

Revelation 9:11<\/a>. Who Is Abaddon, or Apollyon?<\/h3>\n

John stated that \u201cAbaddon\u201d and \u201cApollyon\u201d are names (in Hebrew and Greek, respectively) for the angel of the bottomless pit, or leader of the evil forces described in Revelation 9:3\u201310<\/a>. Both names come from terms meaning \u201cdestruction.\u201d<\/p>\n

PART OF THE 6TH TRUMPET<\/p>\n

Revelation 9:15\u201316<\/a>. \u201cTwo Hundred Thousand Thousand,\u201d<\/h3>\n

John recorded in Revelation 9:15\u201316<\/a> that terrible destruction will be unleashed by God\u2019s messengers during the last days before the Savior\u2019s Second Coming. John declared that \u201ctwo hundred thousand thousand\u201d (200,000,000) men of war will fight in the battle of Armageddon (verse\u00a016<\/a>). We do not know whether that number is symbolic or literal. John also recorded that \u201cthe third part of men\u201d will be slain (verse\u00a015<\/a>). Of this prophecy, Elder Bruce\u00a0R. McConkie<\/strong> stated, \u201cThe slain will be a third of the inhabitants of the earth itself, however many billions of people that may turn out to be\u201d (Millennial Messiah,\u00a0453).<\/p>\n

When Christ returns, it users in the 7th Trumpet and ends the battle of Armageddon, the 2nd coming.The return of Christ signals the 7th Trumpet and concludes the battle of Armageddon, known as the 2nd coming.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The 7th thousand years<\/strong><\/h2>\n

There are seven thousand years of the Earth\u2019s temporal existence, but there are eight thousand years total. Therefore, the Great Millennium is not counted as part of the temporal existence because \u201ctime is no longer\u201d Rev. 10:6, and it will be like the endless or eternal state that existed before the Fall.<\/p>\n

I do feel it is essential that I clarify something. The seven seals represent the past, present, and future events. There are seven thousand years of the Earth\u2019s temporal existence; there are 7 seals that cover the seven thousand years, plus a little season. So the seven seals do cover the earth\u2019s existence. Each seal will last 1000 years. We are currently on the sixth seal, and that is coming to an end.<\/p>\n

Rev. 10:6 | time no longer<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Let us read revelation 10:6<\/strong><\/p>\n

And sware by him that liveth forever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the Earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer.<\/p>\n

This should clarify that time is precious, but even more importantly, it underlines the nearness of the first resurrection and the second coming. We absolutely must make sure everyone who needs to hear this information gets it. Despite spending countless hours on my projects and prophecy, I still have much to learn. Being human, I\u2019m bound to make mistakes, even though I\u2019m confident in my work. I am human and, based on my knowledge; I believe this information is right. The amazing answer to my prayer has fueled my desire to warn everyone that the Lord is coming soon, and I share this message with anyone who will listen.
