FLOOD 600 YEARS INTO NOAHS LIFE.

Noah and the Flood:Noah, a righteous man, was chosen by God to build an ark to escape the impending flood.

The Earth had become corrupt and filled with violence, leading God to decide to destroy all life on Earth. God instructed Noah to construct an ark made of cypress wood, coated with pitch both inside and out.

The ark’s dimensions were specified: 300 cubits long, 50 cubits wide, and 30 cubits high. Noah was to bring pairs of every living creature (male and female) into the ark to preserve them. God declared floodwaters would cover the Earth, destroying all life except those aboard the ark.

After 40 days and 40 nights of rain, the floodwaters receded, and Noah’s family emerged from the ark. God established a covenant with Noah, symbolized by a rainbow, promising never to flood the Earth again 1.

God’s Warning and Command:Even though there was no evidence of a flood, God forewarned Noah of the impending disaster. In reverent fear, Noah obeyed God’s command to construct an ark to save his household. The ark was to be made of gopherwood, with specific dimensions: 300 cubits long, 50 cubits wide, and 30 cubits high.

The Flood and Salvation:

The floodwaters covered the entire earth, destroying all living creatures except those on the ark. Noah, his family, and the animals were saved from the flood by being inside the ark. This event serves as a powerful symbol of faith, obedience, and God’s mercy.

How I calculated the timing of the Flood.

How I calculated when Noah’s flood began. 2311 B.C.

Many believe that the beginning from the time of Adam and Eve was 4004 B.C.

However, I believe that date is off, here is why. The Book of Revelation gives us a clue that people don’t understand and overlook. As a member of “The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day-Saints”, I have learned that the book sealed with seven seals is a history of events over the past and current 7000-year period, which includes the millennium.

Deeper research shows the following. But first, you need to understand that 1000 years is one day for the Lord.

In 2 Peter 3:8 (King James Version) is written: But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

The 2nd thing you need to understand is that when Jesus arose from the dead, (resurrected) this started the 5th seal. The year 33 A.D. Do you understand?

Now since there are 7 seals and the 5th seal opened up in the year 33 A.D.

To go back to Adam and Eve, you need to go back to the beginning of the 1st seal.

That would take us back to 3967 BC, the beginning of the first seal. We understand Noah was born in 1056 and that the flood started when he was 600 years old.

Genesis 7

6 And Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of waters was upon the earth.

11 In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.

Take: 3967–1056 = 2911 (Noah was born in 2911)

Take 2911–600 years and you end up with 2311 B.C. the time the flood began.

I purchased a chart, and the placed the flood at 2348. I believe this is an error because the seven seals is a concept not widely understood by the world.

ANSWER: We are to understand that it contains the revealed will, mysteries, and the works of God; the hidden things of his economy concerning this earth during the seven thousand years of its continuance, or its temporal existence.

7 QUESTION: What are we to understand by the seven seals with which it was sealed?

ANSWER: We are to understand that the first seal contains the things of the first thousand years, and the second also of the second thousand years, and so on until the seventh.

MORE HELPFUL INFORMATION

It’s essential to grasp the concept of the mid-point in time.

The resurrection of Jesus Christ is the mid-point. Sunday, April 11th, 33 AD–mid-point, the 5th seal opened.

Abinadi and Alma both point to Jesus’ resurrection as Earth’s midpoint. The division occurs at Christ’s resurrection: half before and half after. Then there will be 4000 years from the resurrection of Jesus to the end of the Earth.

This means that the exact day when the 5th seal was opened was Sunday, April 11th, 33 AD. In the year 2033, Easter Sunday will fall on April 17th, 2033. It also means that the 7th seal will open on Sunday, April 17th, 2033, A.D.

Please understand that I’m not setting a date as you may think. This date may be right, or it may be off, however it will be extremely close. Learn about and watch the signs. A significant event in gauging the nearness of the 2nd coming of Jesus Christ.
