Church Restored 1830

…….

FULFILLMENT OF MAJOR PROPHECIES

Jesus Christ Church is Restored For The Latter Days – April 6, 1830 A.D.

 BONUS: 17 Essential Points For Identifying The True Church of Jesus Christ.

When Jesus Christ was on the earth, He established His Church among His followers. After His Crucifixion and the deaths of His Apostles, the fulness of the gospel was taken from the earth because of widespread apostasy.

Through the Prophet Joseph Smith, our Father in Heaven and His Son Jesus Christ restored the fullness of the gospel. The true Church of Jesus Christ is on the earth again. Because of the Restoration, the teachings and ordinances necessary for salvation are available to all people.

The following outline summarizes a few of the important events in the restoration of the gospel and the establishment of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, which the Lord has declared is “the only true and living church upon the face of the whole earth” (Doctrine and Covenants 1:30).

Early spring, 1820. Seeking the true Church of Jesus Christ, 14-year-old Joseph Smith prayed in a grove of trees near his home in Palmyra, New York. In answer to his humble prayer, Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ visited him and told him that he must not join any of the churches on the earth at that time. (See Joseph Smith—History 1:11–19.) In the Church, we refer to this experience as Joseph Smith’s First Vision.

However, on April 6th, 1830, the church was restored. I’m going to go through several scriptures that prove that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is Christ’s Church for the latter days. The true church has to meet the following or it cannot be of God. The restored church must meet or have the following according to the scriptures. Only “The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints” can make this claim on every key point.

1. Christ organized the church.
Christ organized the church. Ephesians 4 verses 11 through 15.

11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

2. The true church must bear the name of Jesus Christ.

20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;

4. The true church must have the same organization as Christ’s Church

12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

5. The true church must claim divine authority.

5 So also Christ glorified not himself to be made an high priest; but he that said unto him, Thou art my Son, to day have I begotten thee.

6 As he saith also in another place, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.

7 Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared;

8 Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;

9 And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;

10 Called of God an high priest after the order of Melchisedec.

15 And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him.

16 And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:

Mark 1:10

15 Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost:

16 (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)

17 Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost.

9. The true church must practice divine healing.

THE GREAT APOSTASY ARTICLE

16. The true church must practice baptism for the dead.
The true church must practice baptism for the dead. 1st Corinthians 15 verses 16 through 29

1st Corinthians 15 verses 16 through 29

16 For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised:

17 And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.

18 Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished.

19 If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.

20 But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.

21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.

22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming.

24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.

25 For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.

26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.

27 For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.

28 And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.

29 Else what shall they do which are baptized for the dead, if the dead rise not at all? why are they then baptized for the dead?

17. By their fruits, ye shall know them.
By their fruits, ye shall know them. Matthew 7 verse 20.

20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

Why are these things important? Hebrews 13 verse 8.

8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever. We believe in God the Father, His Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit.

The Book of Mormon’s arrival is a remarkable revelation, fulfilling a prophecy.

Ezekiel 37: 16 Moreover, thou son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel his companions:

Ephraim, a stick (book) of Ephraim
A prophetic reference to the Book of Mormon as a record of one portion of the tribe of Ephraim that was led from Jerusalem to America about 600 B.C.
Judah, The Stick (book) of Judah
When joined with the stick of Judah A prophetic reference to the Holy Bible), the two records form a unified, complementary testimony of the Lord Jesus Christ, His resurrection from the grave, and His divine work among these two segments of the house of Israel.

See JST Gen. 50:24–26, 31 (Appendix);   Ezek. 37:15–19;  2 Ne. 3; 29;  D&C 27:5.

The Holy Bible, New Testament, Old Testament: Judah: Take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and the children of Israel.

The Book of Mormon: For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim

It’s often said that a book is one entity, but the Bible, comprising the Old and New Testaments, is actually a collection of many books. (For Judah)

These scriptures support the Book of Mormon.

The term “STICK” stands for a book, but its meaning extends far beyond that. Each book tells stories about the lives of a group of people.

 Joseph Smith is in the lineage of Joseph.

How exciting it is to see God’s hand in our day.

STICK MEANS BOOK – Though it is so much more than a book. Each book tells a story of the people.

Approaching my eighteenth birthday, I was deeply moved by the understanding that the Bible offers support for the Book of Mormon, finding it to be truly remarkable. Though some may perceive it as one thing, its true meaning is something different. But as a young child; I was not influenced by the way of the world.

Matthew 18:3–4 – New Testament

3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

Our true nature is a mirror of the sentiments and aspirations that dwell within our hearts. While I am saddened by the number of people who will choose to ignore the truth, I respect everyone has the freedom to choose their own path. We stand at a crossroads, faced with a choice: embrace the truth and the light of Christ, or turn away and accept the consequences of our actions.

A scripture that I hold dear has a profound impact on me.

Hosea 4:6—My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

You’re invited to check out “The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.” In doing so, I would like to share one last thing with you. Put yourself in my shoes and consider this.

Christianity Denominations

There are over 45,000 denominations globally.

It seems confusing and contradictory to have 45,000 churches, each with their own slightly different interpretation of the faith. I firmly believe that the scriptures I share are God’s truth, as God is incapable of deceit. I am confident that through prayer and careful analysis, you will discover the truth about what the church should be, as I have detailed on this page the essential characteristics that are frequently overlooked. A prevalent pitfall that many people encounter is embracing false doctrines that are presented in an interesting and persuasive manner.

Faced with the truth that clashes with their established story, many just reject it and simply choose to disregard it and end up becoming prophecy.

2nd Timothy 3:7 : Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Join us in embracing faith by connecting with missionaries, exploring the truth through study, and seeking guidance from the Holy Spirit instead of relying solely on human wisdom. Those who seek it out will find a strong spiritual presence within the church. That, my friend, is a huge blessing.

I hope you found this part of the timeline to be a positive and insightful experience. In the name of Jesus Christ, I declare these things to be true. May you be blessed, and know that you can always contact me with questions or concerns you may have.
